The ministry headquarters is located at the Jordanian capital, Amman. Because the Zionist regime prevented the establishment of the ministry on Palestinian territory.

Official spokesman for the Palestinian Health Ministry, Osama Al-Najjar, has presented a report about inhumane treatment of patients and Palestinians in hospitals and health centers. He disclosed rescue personnel were beaten and are prevented to do their job. Patients in critical condition are abandoned. The Israeli occupation regime also stops patients to go abroad for treatment.

The report sent to the UN stated the Zionists aggressor regime continued its attacks on the oppressed Palestinian people during January 2016 to July 2017.

The rate of attacks on hospitals and rescue personnel increased since then. It is against the Geneva agreement, international laws and human values.

According to the report, IDF soldiers were blocking ambulances’ way, clashing with relief officers, mistreating them, shooting, and using sound bombs and tear gas.

The report indicates that they conducted several operations, arrested the wounded, abandoned them without any medical service which caused some of them bleed to death, forbade medical supplies being delivered to health centers.

Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the international community is obliged more than ever to make the Zionists regime to adhere to the terms of the Geneva agreement and international law. It also stressed that the Israeli regime must be put under all-round pressure so that it would comply the most basic international and humanitarian law.
