Palestinian resistance forces have successfully shot down an Israeli drone over Gaza Strip, their second in less than a week.
Fighters from the Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades, which is the
armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP),
Shot down the drone in eastern Khan Yunis on Saturday evening and collected its wreckage, according to local media.
and captured the device in the east of the besieged territory
near the city of Khan Yunis on Saturday evening.
Another Israeli drone was shot down by the Hamas resistance movement on Monday night, as it was flying over east of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli military has denied both reports, dismissing them as propaganda.
They made similar claims when the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah recently downed their drones over Lebanon.
Denying all losses against resistance forces seems to be Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s new strategy ahead of the September 17 elections, as his support is already at lowest levels and he cannot afford to lose more votes over security concerns.
