ISLAMABAD: Chehlum of Mumtaz Qadri was observed today in Rawalpindi at his shrine where lacs of devotees came together from all over Pakistan.
Mega Procession is now marching towards Islamabad via Faizabad interchange to protest against government. On the other hand Faizabad interchange has been blocked. Protesters are demanding the resignation from Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of
Authorities have placed containers on the road to block the procession and strict action is expected shall the procession attempts to enter the capital by force. As per various estimates there are several lacs people in the Caravan which has started after the call given by Tehrik-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (SAW). The meeting was attended by leaders of Tehrik including Dr Ashraf Asif Jalali, Pir Afzal Qadri, Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi, Pir Syed Ziaul Haq Shah, Dr Abdul Khair, Sunni Tehrik leaders Sarwat Ijaz Qadri and Syed Innayatullah Haq Shah.
Police has resorted to fire tear gas to disperse the march which is now divided between various groups. Various scholars have shared pictures of the procession on the Facebook Pages.
