Indonesian FM urge to Myanmar govt to stop violence against Rohingya Muslims

Amid the high tension in Myanmar against the world’s most persecuted minority Rohingya, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi was sent to Myanmar to urge the government to prevent deadly violence against Rohingya Muslims.

According to news reports, the announcement made by Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Sunday after a petrol bomb was thrown at the embassy of Myanmar in the capital, Jakarta.

Rohingya activists held a demonstration at the embassy on Saturday calling for the Nobel Prize Committee to withdraw the Nobel Peace Prize from Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi, state news agency Antara reported.

The huge outrage against the Myanmar’s government across the world, numerous men killed daily, and women being raped even innocent children are being killed by the government forces.
