Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered on Sunday (July 15th) the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, the symbol of the 2022 World Cup.
Putin and Al Thani then went to brief talks to discuss bilateral relations between Russia and Qatar.
“I congratulate you and congratulate the Russian people on the success of the tournament. We look forward to inviting you to the Qatar Championship in 2022,” he said.
“I thank the Russian friends for their support of the Qatar 2022 Organizing Committee for their support and support, and we look forward to working with friends in Russia to support them in organizing the tournament.”
