New Delhi: Janata Dal Secular supremo and Former Prime Minister of India H.D. Deve Gowda on Sunday said that he was not yet “prepared” to “accept or reject” anything and asked people to wait for the results day.
His reaction has come after results of several exit polls showing JDS will be the king maker. He told to a news agency,”I am not prepared to accept or reject anything, let’s wait for May 15 (counting of votes), we will get to know the reality.”
Yesterday, after casting his vote, Deve Gowda had said that his party expects a possibility of forming the government. Gowda said, “We expect a possibility of forming the government, we have done well.”
On the other end BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa said that his party will get clear majority. Karnataka Assembly has 224 seats and a party or an alliance needs 113-seats to form the government. Elections are done for 222 seats.
