Congress and JDS have decided to meet once again to the governor to stake claim to form the government in Karnataka. Both of the parties have taken the signatures of all the MLAs. They will submit this document to the Governor later today. G Parameshwara of Congress said,”All the MLAs are intact. Some of the MLAs came late because they came in a special flight from Bidar.” Congress leader DK Shivkumar clearly said that his party is not going to ask for deputy CM post. He said,”No question of asking for anything (on reports that he wants to be Deputy CM). Our priority right now is to have a secular government. All the 78 MLAs are together.”

A Congress MLA TD Rajegowda said,”They (BJP) keep on calling but we don’t bother about it. I have clearly asked them not to call me. I am a committed Congress person. They have been doing this from long time. This is their job.”

JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy has taken a solid stand. He said,”We will meet the Governor once again along with state Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President (G Parameshwara)”. When a reported asked him about meeting Prakash Javadekar, in-charge of BJP, Karnataka, he said,”Who is Javadekar? Who is that gentleman?”
