Kolkata: Mamta Banarji is still the most important face of West Bengal politics. Her party is leading in Uberia Lok Sabha seat with huge margin. Trinamool Congress has got more than 40 thousand votes here, while the BJP has just more than 17 thousand votes. The biggest blow is for the CPI(M) which is trailing at number 3.
The situation is somewhat similar in the Nopara assembly seat. Here, Sunil Singh of Trinamool Congress has got more than 96 thousand votes, while Sandeep Banerjee of BJP is trailing at the second place, which has so far won 35,980 votes. The CPI(M) has got 33,729 votes. According to the reports, Congress has got 10 thousand votes.
Although the BJP is not in any position to win a seat but coming to the second place is also a big achievement for the BJP. Apart from West Bengal, Rajasthan also has a by-election trend. Here the Congress is in gaining position in the Lok Sabha seats of Ajmer and Alwar while the BJP is trailing far behind. Overall, there is no good news for the BJP from Rajasthan. It seems that the next Lok Sabha election is going to be very interesting.
