Netanyahu: ‘Strongest Likud branch is in Saudi Arabia’

Outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the strongest branch of the Likud party is in Saudi Arabia, referring to pro-normalization Mohammad Saud, who has been previously referred to as the representative of the party’s leader in the Saudi kingdom.

This came during an interview with Netanyahu, Tuesday, on the Hebrew Channel 20.

Saud praised Netanyahu’s statement and posted it on his Twitter, celebrating what he called “your wonderful (in reference to Netanyahu) efforts to achieve peace in the Middle East.”

“You know, Your Excellency, how much I love and appreciate you and my dear country (Israel), and I hope that peace will be achieved soon between our countries. My deepest gratitude and appreciation,” he added, speaking to Netanyahu.
