Rahul Meena who did not commit suicide told the police that they were all fed up with their lives as they can neither do farming nor get decent jobs.
JAIPUR — Three unemployed young men were killed and another was battling for life on Thursday after they flung themselves before a train in Alwar in poll-bound Rajasthan, police said, reports IANS.
Police sources said primary probe revealed that they were depressed due to unemployment but the exact reason for taking the extreme step was yet to be ascertained.
Two friends of the deceased, who did not jump on the railway tracks, told the police that they were six friends near railways tracks on Tuesday evening when they decided to commit suicide, according to reports.
While Manoj (24), Satyanarayan Meena (22) and Rituraj Meena (17) died by jumping before the train, Abhishek Meena (22) was injured, according to Police.
The two who did not commit suicide were Santosh Meena and Rahul Meena, the officer said.
Rahul Meena told the police that Satyanaran Meena told him that they were all fed up with their lives as they can neither do farming nor get decent jobs.
After a while, Rahul Meena said he saw the four jump before a train.
The four youth were from Rajgarh town were living in the same apartment near Shanti Nikunj. They used to go frequently for a walk near the railway station track till late night.
