Subramanian Swamy pours heart out on social media, says will leave for China since PM Modi is not ‘interested in knowing’ his views

BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has sensationally confessed to not receiving any importance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His pain came out in a recent social media post, where the veteran BJP leader wrote that he had decided to leave for China since the prime minister was not ‘interested in knowing’ his views.

His tweet read, “China’s famous Tsinghua University has invited me to address in September a gathering of scholars to speak on “China’s Economic Development: A Review Of Last 70 years.” Since Namo is not interested in knowing my views I might as well go to China.”

Last month, Swamy had publicly agreed with one of his followers on Twitter when told that Nirmala Sitharaman was made the new finance minister primarily to target honest officers adding that the Enforcement Directorate will be her ‘next target.’

This was after Swamy had reacted angrily over the compulsory retirement of one Income Tax commissioner, SK Srivastava, by the Centre’s Narendra Modi government. Swamy said that he will be taking up Srivastava’s case since ‘there is no new substantive case against him.’

Swamy has appeared to be on a collision course with the Centre’s BJP government after the ministries were allocated. Many of his supporters were seen expressing their displeasure on PM Modi not appointing Swamy as the new finance minister. Speaking to BBC Hindi recently, Swamy had said that one of the reasons why he was not made the finance minister was because the government feared that he will not spare any wrongdoers even from his own party.
