Seminar concludes with the appeal of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood in the society

Lucknow. A seminar on “Rafi Ahmed Kidwai’s Contribution to Society and Our Responsibilities” under the aegis of Muslim Student Organization (MSO) at Madrasa Jamia Garib Nawaz, Sarai Sheikh, Satrikh Road, Chinhat on 24 October was organized. A large number of local people attended the seminar. The program began with the Quran recitation.

The convenor of the event Abu Ashraf, State President, MSO gave a brief introduction to Rafi Ahmed Kidwai while welcoming all the participants and mentioned his contribution to the freedom struggle. He said that Rafi Ahmed Kidwai was so much influenced by Mahatma Gandhi that he himself jumped into the freedom struggle on his call and served the country with full capacity even after the independence of the country while still in the Union Cabinet. He said that like Rafi Ahmed Kidwai, numerous Muslims have contributed to the independence of the country and at this time it is necessary that we all rise above communal sentiments and contribute to the progress of the country.

Maulana Shoaib ul Qadri, in his speech, emphasized love for the country and advised all the citizens of the country, especially the Muslims, to make the country great with all their strength. He also expressed concern over the increasing distance between Hindus and Muslims in the country and the growing distrust of Muslims among citizens of other nations globally.

He called upon all Muslims, especially the youth, to do their best in the society and Introduce positive role models so that the misconceptions spread in the society can be removed. Other speakers also emphasized the efforts to maintain mutual brotherhood in the society and emphasized the unity and integrity of the country.

Special attention was given to the COVID-19 protocol in the program. All the listeners along with the sanitizer and face mask maintained proper distance. At the end of the program, all the speakers and listeners prayed for the progress of the country and to maintain unity and brotherhood in the society. The program mainly features Qari Shahid Raza, Manager Jamia Garib Nawaz; Azam Siddiqui, Sharafat Khan, Imran, Salman Khan and others attended.
