New Delhi, Sep 27: Amid the strained ties between India and Pakistan over latter’s alleged involvement in Uri terror attack, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not visit Pakistan for the SAARC Summit.
“In the prevailing circumstances, the Government of India is unable to participate in the proposed Summit in Islamabad”, ANI reported quoting MEA.
Yesterday, Sushma Swaraj gave a befitting reply to Pakistan in the UN General Assembly, categorically stating that it must abandon the Kashmir dream.
Modi government has already made it clear that diplomatic offensive will be scaled up to isolate Pakistan on the global level.
