AITUI, Raza Academy, MSO, Darul Kalam Protest against Uniform Civil Code & Triple Talaq Issue

Muslim Organisations Protest at Jantar Mantar.

NEW DELHI: Opposing the Uniform Civil Code and the abolition of Triple Talaq , today at Jantar Mantar, Muslim Organisations such as All India Tazeem Ulama E Islam (AITUI), Raza Academy, Muslim Student Organisation of India (MSO) and Darul Kalam staged a demonstration.

The protestations were led by AITUI’s Mufti Ashfaq Hussain, Raza Academy’s President Mohammad Saeed Noori, Darul Kalam’s Yaseen Akhtar Misbahi and members of the MSO.

One of India’s largest Muslim organisations the All India Tazeem Ulama E Islam (AITUI) has said that it shall not tolerate any changes that the government wants to make to the Shariah or the Islamic Law.

Saeed Noori, President, Raza Acaemy has said that the country, the citizens all have various needs and issues. The country cannot be governed under the RSS ideology.

Maulana Shahbuddin Razvi, Secretary, Jamaat Raza E Mustafa, has told all Muslims to adhere by the declarations made by Dargah Ala Hazrat Ulemas, rejecting the Uniform Civil Code and the abolition of the Triple Talaq.

While Muslim Mahila Foundation is accusing those who oppose the Uniform Civil Code and the abolition of the Triple Talaq as perpetrators of patriarchy and feudalism, youth organisations like MSO call this opposition as a clear stand supporting true Islam and the way of the Holy Prophet.
