MSO organized webinar on ‘Role of Muslims in Azad Hind Fauj’

New Delhi: One of the largest student organizations of the country, Muslim Students Organization of India (MSO), organized a national webinar on ‘Role of Muslims in Azad Hind Fauj’. Historian and author Ashok Kumar Pandey and senior journalist Saqib Saleem joined the webinar as keynote speakers. The webinar was conducted by MSO Chairman Shujaat Ali Qadri.

Initiating the webinar, Dr. Shujaat Ali invited Ashok Kumar Pandey and Saqib Saleem to throw light on the role of Muslims in the Azad Hind Fauj. Ashok Kumar Pandey, while keeping his point, said that there was no Hindu or Muslim in Azad Hind Fauj but all were Hindustani. He emphasized that the communal atmosphere prevails today will pass away soon and then we will all live life with Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb.

After that, Mr. Saqib started his talk and said that the topic which is going today should never have been needed. But such is the condition of the country. Where we have to organize the programs of sacrifices of Muslims became the need of the hour.

Referring to Subhash Chandra Bose’s companion Janab Abidi , he said that he was the closest and most important person of Subhash Babu in the Azad Hind Fauj. Apart from this, he also mentioned about Inayatullah Sb. Colonel Shahnawaz and all the Muslim officers who held important positions in the Azad Hind Fauj and the people who supported him.The webinar was concluded by thanking the people by MSO National President Mudassir Ashrafi.
