‘‘Capacity Enhancement Program held at Kerala High Court with Law Dept, AMU MC ’’
Aligarh 15th Dec 2022: Department of Law Aligarh Muslim University Centre Malappuram organised a capacity enhancement program for member students of Legal Aid Clinic AMUMC, in collaboration with Legal Service Committee High Court of Kerala.
Total 51 students visited the High Court of Kerala at Kochi for the Law Dept along with three faculty members. The students observed court proceedings in various Court rooms in first session.
Later in the day an interaction programme was organised in the banquet hall of the High Court for with Hon’ble Mr. Justice A. Muhamed Mustaque, Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Anu Sivaraman, Hon’ble Mr. Justice C.S Dias and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kauser Edappagath along with member secretary of Kerala Legal Service Authority KELSA. The dignitaries addressed the student on various legal issues.
Hon’ble Judges shares their life experiences from being a law student to being High Court Judge. Students asked various question on court procedures, filing, on internships and on various growing areas of Law. Teacher In charge of Legal Aid Cell Dr. Shaista Nasreen delivered vote of thanks.
Mr. Mohsin Chauhan student in-charge was the student convener who coordinated the visit on the guidance of Chairperson of Legal Aid Cell Dr. Naseema PK.
Dr. Shaista Nasreen, Adv. MT Salam (Teacher in-charges LAC) and Advocate Neema Noor Guest Faculty accompanied the students to Kerala High Court at Kochi.
Director Dr. Faisal KP and Coordinator Dept of Law Unit at Malappuram Centre Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik congratulated students and Faculty members for this successful educational visit. Dr. Malik told that more such visit for the Law students will be organised in near future.
