Mufti Saleem Noori has clarified to Times Headline.com after his Fatawa against making of Kaba Model was published in one section of Media. According to Mufti Saleem Noori of Dargahe Ala Hazrat, making of models of Kaaba and using them for Haj training is not prohibited. Kaba models can be used for that purpose but doing Tawaf of Kaba models and doing this act instead of Haj is strictly prohibited.
According to Noori I had given fatawa on a query asked about people of Kenya who are doing tawaf of Kaba models and wearing Ahram (sepecial dress during Haj).
My answer to the question was not completely published by Media. I gave complete answer that if the People are using model for Haj training purpose then it is allowed. But if they are considering their act as pious in place of Haj and doing it by treating model of Kaba as real Kaba, then it is not allowed.
Therefore, Mufti Saleem Noori has put an end to controversy which was arisen after his half published statement. Some people objected to his half part of Fatwa which prohibits making of Kaba models even for training purpose. As many organisations regularly displays models of Madina and Makkah during festivals.
In some of the countries clerics constructs a duplicate of the Kaaba, the structure in Mecca that houses the Black Stone, to familiarize the people with the correct performance of the pilgrimage. The volunteers in the mock demonstration are required to go round the Kaaba-like structure seven times. The performance of the pilgrimage is an obligatory pillar of Islam where every able Muslim is expected to visit the sanctuary city of Mecca and the Kaaba among other activities.
