Eid-e-Milad celebrated at AMU Centre Malappuram

On 8th October, 2022.

Jalsa-e-Eid-e-Milad Un Nabi (pbuh) was celebrated in the open auditorium of Aligarh Muslim University Centre Malappuram from 4:30 PM. The Programme began with the recitation of Holy Quran by Mr. Basil Basheer (2nd Year BEd Student) followed by speeches and poetry in praise of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by the students of AMUMC.

Allama Umar Ali Saqafi Sb (Dean, College of Arabic Language, Sunni Markaz Calicut) discussed that the Eid Milad Un Nabi is an occasion to celebrate life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in order to spread the universal message of mercy, justice and peace.

Allama Matiurrehman Sb. (Dept of Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh, Darul Huda Islamic University, Malappuram) delivered speeches on the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Eid Milad.

Prizes were distributed to winners Seerat un Nabi Competition which were organized on account of Eid Milad.

The programme was presided by Dr. Faisal KP (Director, AMU Malappuram Centre). Assistant registrar Mr. Mohammad Ahzam Khan delivered welcome address.

Seerat Committee convener Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmed Malik, Mr. Syed Ahmad Saad, Dr. Firoz  Ahmad, Dr. Shaista Nasreen, Dr. Syed Hayat Basha, Dr. Sadaf Jafri and Dr. Jameela T. (Asst Prof. Dept Of Law also discussed the importance of teachings of prophet of Islam.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Firoz Ahmad and the programme was conducted by Umair Siddiqui, Fathima S, Yaqoob Murtaza and Ms. Amreen.
