Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone on Sunday officially announced her wedding date with boyfriend and Padmaavat co-star Ranveer Singh. Taking to her social media pages, Deepika wrote, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018.”
The invitation card, posted by the Chennai Express actor, went on to add, “We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness.”
Her fans erupted in joy after reading her social media posts about her wedding. One fan wrote, “Omg Omg so excited .” Another commented, “Congratulations my fav couple of all time. I have always prayed in my heart that you both get married and He Listened To me.”
In August, Kabir Bedi had confirmed that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will have their wedding in November. Bedi was reacting to a report by Filmfare magazine, which stated the guest list of the Padmaavat stars’ planned wedding for 20 November at Lake Como in Italy. According to the website, a source close to the couple had confirmed that the wedding will have only ‘close ones’ present in Italy.
Ranveer, who was recently in Switzerland, had wrapped the shooting for his next film Simmba, which also has Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan.
