Debate and essay competition at AMU, Chance to win a lot of prizes

Aligarh/Mallapuram: SIR SYED VIRTUAL NATIONAL LAW FEST 2020 is being organized by the Law Society on the anniversary of the birth of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) founder Sir Syed Ahmed Khan.

According to the information given by the Dr. Faisal KP, Director, AMU Center Mallapuram, all students pursuing a 3-year or 5-year law course from any recognized institution can participate in this competition. At the same time, debating writing competition can also include students doing graduate courses in any subject from any institution.

The Director said that along with the winners being awarded prizes and certificates, all participants will also be given e-certificates for participation. He told that registration is free. The last date for registration is October 2, 2020. Click here to register for all competition.

Giving information about the question paper, Convenor Kulsoom Fatima and Sudhanshu Das said that there will be a total of 50 questions which have to be solved through Google Forms. There will be no negative marking. Medium will be English only. The questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). Participants will have a maximum of 20 minutes to solve all the questions.

At the same time, Dr. Shahnawaz Amhad Malik and Ghalib Nashtar said that Law Fest is an annual law festival organized by students and teachers under the Law Society for the last five years. It includes activities like Moot Court Competition, Debate, Extempore, Speech, Quiz, Drama, Judgment Writing, Article Writing, Assay Writing and more.
