Congress is excited after the trends of Lok Sabha by-elections for two seats in Rajasthan. In the Lok Sabha seats of Ajmer and Alwar, the Congress has made a strong lead. Congress is ahead by 20800 votes in Ajmer’s Lok Sabha seat while Alwar is leading by 43 thousand votes. In both of these seats the BJP is trailing far-behind.
The Congress has also won the Mandalgarh assembly seat in Rajasthan. Congress’s Vivek Dhakad has won Mandalgarh assembly seat by 12976 votes. Rajasthan president of Congress Sachin Pilot said,”Initial trends from Rajasthan By Polls are a mandate against the Govt, I hope our leads will increase even more. Vasundhara ji and her Govt have been totally rejected by people.”
In West Bengal, Mamta Banarji is still the most important face of politics. Her party is leading in Uberia Lok Sabha seat with huge margin. The Trinamool Congress on Thursday won the Noapara Assembly bypoll by a margin of 63,018 votes while the BJP emerged second with 38,711 votes. The CPM came third, while the Congress came fourth with 10,527 votes and lost its deposits. In Uluberia Lok Sabha bypoll, TMC is leading by a margin of 68,503 votes while BJP and CPM are emerging second and third, respectively.
