Kathua rape and murder case has become a shame for the BJP as two of it’s Jammu and Kashmir ministers defended the accused on the pretext of their religion. But finally, they have resigned from the government. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was very angry with the way the ministers came out in defense of a crime which is rarest of rare.

It was reported that Mufti’s government informed the BJP that it must take action against both of the leaders.Industries Minister Chandra Prakash Ganga and Forest Minister Lal Singh had addressed a rally in support of the accused by a group called the Hindu Ekta Munch in March.

In Kathua an eight year old girl was brutally raped and murdered. Across India people are angry after they read the bone-chilling charge sheet of the crime. Various social activists, film stars, sports persons, literary personalities and common citizens have came out strongly against the incident. They have raised their voice for #JusticeForAsifa through social media and other means.
