“What message are we sending to Kashmir,” asked Owaisi after attack on Kashmiri students

New Delhi: AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the attack on Kashmiri Muslims. He said,”Khattar administration failed in living up to its constitutional responsibility of providing security to people in Haryana. 2 Kashmiri students were deliberately targeted after they came out of a mosque. I strongly condemn this.”

He said,”Kashmir is integral part of India & it will always be. What message are we sending? What crime have they done? Who are the vigilantes to target them? Govt is following its ideology instead of providing security to people.”

In the Mahendergarh district of Haryana on Friday, the police arrested three accused in connection with the beating of two Muslim students, who returned after paying prayers. Although the victims informed that 15-20 people had been assaulted by them. Jammu Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti tweeted about this incident. She said,”Shocked & disturbed to hear reports of Kashmiri students being assaulted in Mahendargarh, Haryana. I urge the authorities to investigate & take strict action. @mlkhattar”.

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and leader of National Conference Omar Abdullah said,”This is terrible & goes against the spirit of what @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji said from the ramparts of the Red Fort. I hope the authorities in Haryana act quickly against this violence.”
