As the news of the arrest of the contract killer and Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang member Sampat Nehra surfaced for allegedly scheming to kill Salman Khan, security around the actor’s house has been tightened.
However, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan stated that the family is not perturbed by such threats.
“There is added security for Salman, who has, in any case, always had a good team of security personnel deployed for him. It [threat] is not much of a concern [for the family]. We are only worried about his safety, and that is being taken care of. We have faith in the Mumbai police, and they are doing their job well,” Salim Khan said to a leading tabloid.
Salman Khan is currently on a promotional spree for Race 3 which is releasing this Friday; however, Salim Khan claims that Salman Khan’s work is unfazed by the news of the killer’s arrest. “This is not the first time that Salman has encountered threats. Everyone is concerned about safety, but work can’t stop,” said Salim Khan.
Nehra was put behind the bars last week after the cops learnt about him allegedly inspecting around Salman Khan’s residence as a part of his game plan to kill him.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be featured in an action avatar in the third installment of Race franchise, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala. Helmed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 is all set to release on June 15, 2018.
