New Delhi: Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani with his supporters hold Yuva Hunkar rally from the parliament to the PM residence. The police has made heavy arrangements for the rally. Many youth leaders and their supporters gathered here.
JNU student leader Umar Khalid said,”we want justice for Chandrashekhar and Rohit Vemula.” He said that Chandrashekhar is not a threat to the country but he is a threat for those who follow Manu Smriti. Khalid said that this government is the government of those who follow Manu Smriti. “We’ll bring all the movements together.. did you get employment?” Khalid said that nothing will happen with hate.
Khalid, taking aim at UP CM Yogi Adityanath, said that when he meet with Dalits, send them soap and shampoo to clean themselves. He criticized the mainstream media by saying that the anger of roads is not present on the TV debates. He said,”Thanks to students, farmers, and minorities, PM Modi’s bubble has broken. We don’t want to hate, we want our rights.”
Earlier Jignesh Mevani tweeted about the rally. He said that the time has come for BJP to pack the bag. He also said that this rally was organised to raise the demand for release of Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan.In the rally, Mevani said,”We’re not love-jihad guys. We believe in Pyar, Ishq, Mohabbat Zindabaad. And that’s the reason that we will celebrate 14th April and we’ll also celebrate Valentines’ Day. ”
